CS Alfred Mutua Launches New Job Recruitment Drive for Overseas Opportunities under Kazi Majuu Program

The exercise is set to take place at Jesus Winner Ministry in Roysambu, Nairobi, on March 5 and 6, 2025.

According to CS Alfred Mutua, the initiative aligns with President Ruto’s commitment to expanding job opportunities abroad.

“Following the promise by H.E. President Dr. William Ruto to enhance labour mobility and overseas opportunities #KaziMajuu for our youth, there will be a recruitment exercise at Jesus Winner Ministry, Roysambu, Nairobi County on Wednesday, March 5 and March 6 2025, from 8 AM to 5 PM,” he stated in his social media handle.

Job vacancies are available in various categories, including nursing positions for degree holders. Nurses will be recruited for opportunities in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, and Australia.

Additionally, there are openings for drivers with valid licenses, with a strong preference for former GCC license holders. Delivery rider positions are also available in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Mutua stated that there are also job opportunities in the hospitality industry, including positions for waiters, waitresses, stewards, and chefs, as well as roles in the seafaring and cruise ship sectors. Additionally, openings are available in construction for masons, carpenters, scaffolders, electricians, plumbers, and general construction workers. He assured that successful candidates would receive various benefits and government support.

“Those successfully recruited will receive passports within a day or two; financial support options will also be provided for those who cannot afford processing fees, visas, medicals, tickets while accommodation, Insurance, Transport, and Overtime will be provided for selected jobs,” he said.

He emphasised that the initiative aligned with the government’s commitment to providing meaningful employment to Kenyans while ensuring fair terms and conditions of work.

This move comes a few days after Pentecostal Bishop Edward Mai affiliated with Jesus Winner Ministry church, pleaded with President William Ruto to help the community members secure employment opportunities overseas.

“We have people in this church who are looking for jobs overseas. Some have studied Germany, French.. therefore we are pleading with respect for you to help the community here access those jobs,” Bishop Mwai said.
