The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has publicized photographs of wanted persons suspected to have orchestrated illegal acts during the third week of anti-government rallies.

In a statement posted on their social handles, the DCI revealed images of the wanted persons, who were instructed to report to the nearest police station for further action.

“The individuals whose images/photos appear below are wanted by the authorities for their illegal actions during the anti-finance bill protests. We consequently advise them to report to the local police station for further police action.” The DCI said in the statement.

They advised for confidential sharing of information about the said individuals through Fichua Kwa DCI.

“Information on the whereabouts of any of the suspects may be channeled confidentially to the anonymous #FichuakwaDCI Hotline number 0800722203 or the police hotline 999, 911,112.” They added.

This comes after the DCI issued a warning to those who intended to use widespread anti-government demonstrations to carry out their atrocious activities.

Peaceful protests across the country were turned violent by goons.

The criminals penetrated Nairobi’s central business district and other parts of the country in an attempt to vandalize and steal from businesses.

The Gen Zs who first led these rallies maintained a peaceful relationship with both police and businesses; nevertheless, goons changed the narrative by looting several shops and throwing stones at police.

Some of the protestors noted a change in the atmosphere stating that unlike previous protests the most recent were infiltrated by delinquents who stole people’s phones and destroyed businesses.
