Airtel Kenya has today announced the opening of a new Airtel Money Branch in Mombasa’s Central Business District (CBD) as part of a continuous expansion of its service footprint in the coastal region.
This new addition is in response to the growing number of Airtel customers and Airtel Money agents in Mombasa city and the expansive Coastal region.
With the continuous growth of Airtel customers in Mombasa CBD and its environs, the company is bolstering access to Airtel Money services to match the steadily increasing demand for its mobile money offerings.
Speaking during the launch of the shop, Airtel Money Managing Director, Anne Kinuthia Otieno, highlighted the vital role Airtel Money branches play with the growing adoption of Airtel Money services.
“With the launch of our new Airtel Money Branch, we are committed to enhancing the accessibility and convenience of Airtel Money services for our agents. This branch will ensure convenient access to float purchase and balancing, ultimately improving the efficiency and reliability of our services.” Said Anne Kinuthia Otieno.
Also present at the launch was Victor Ngumo, Sales & Distribution Director at Airtel Kenya, who stated, “The opening of our new Airtel Money Branch in Mombasa CBD underscores Airtel’s dedication to enhancing customer experience and accessibility. The new branch will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including Airtel Money deposits and withdrawals, Airtel Money agent float purchase and balancing, SIM activation for prepaid and Post-Paid connections, Home Broadband devices, Sale of airtime in retail and wholesale, SIM swap, and general customer inquiries.
The new Airtel Money Branch will serve as a distribution point for Mombasa CBD and the surrounding areas. Notably, this exemplifies Airtel’s commitment to devolving its services and bringing them closer to their customers.
