Former TV anchor Sabina Anyango Replaces Habida as Harriet in Top Maisha Magic Show ‘Zari’

Sabina Anyango Stadler, renowned for her roles in popular Kenyan television series like “Papa Shirandula” and “Inspekta Mwala,” has landed a new role in top Maisha Magic Plus show,” Zari.

The show airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on DStv Channel 163 and GOtv channel 3.

Sabina, a multifaceted talent as a Film Producer, Writer, Director, and Owner of Divine Elements Productions, steps into the role of Harriet, previously portrayed by Habida Moloney.

Her debut on the show will be in episode 145 of Season 1, airing this Friday.

“Zari,” often christened as a modern Cinderella story, revolves around a young woman’s quest to uncover her hidden family fortune and inheritance.

In addition to her acting prowess, Sabina has contributed significantly to the television landscape, having appeared in TV shows like “Changing Times” and produced films such as “Utapeli,” “Ndoto,” and “The OddPair,” available for streaming on Showmax.

Sabina’s career trajectory includes a stint as a Swahili News Anchor and Reporter for Nation Media Group, along with hosting various TV shows like “Upishi Extra” and “Chamaa Show.”

Furthermore, Sabina’s dedication to the arts extends beyond the screen, as she previously served as the Cabinet Secretary for Arts, Culture & Sports in the Office of Nairobi Woman Representative, collaborating with NGAAF.

She spearheaded initiatives like the Twende Kazi Mobile Film Competition and Twende Kazi Fashion Competition.

Her contributions have earned her recognition, notably winning the 2019 Kalasha Pitch Prize for Best TV Series amidst stiff competition, clinching a $5,000 cash prize out of over 500 applicants.

Academically accomplished, Sabina holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and a PGD in International Relations and Diplomacy.
