Late Kalembe Ndile’s wife dies after a short illness

Wife to the late former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile has died.
Magdalene Kalembe, who until her demise was a nominated MCA at Makueni County Assembly under Maendeleo Chap Chap Party, passed on Tuesday night after a short illness.
According to the family spokesperson Sam Ndile, Magdalene fell ill on Thursday and was hospitalized.
She passed on while undergoing treatment at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi.
“Magdalene fell ill on Thursday while at the County Assembly and traveled to Nairobi where she got hospitalized, her situation got worse on Tuesday evening. She was transferred to ICU where she left us.” noted Ndile.
In the wake of her husband’s death, Magdalene was nominated as a Member of the County Assembly (MCA) for Makueni County by the Maendeleo Chap Chap party in the last general elections.
This nomination was not just a political appointment but a tribute to her late husband’s legacy and her commitment to public service.
Her death comes three years after her husband died in 2021.
The Late Kalembe Ndile who was a former Minister of Tourism died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Late Kalembe Ndile was celebrated for his vibrant political career and his dedication to the people of Kibwezi, often advocating for the underprivileged and fighting for the rights of his constituents.
