Parklands Residents Perturbed by Illegal Construction, Call for Government’s Intervention

Parklands residents on Taza Lane, City Park Drive, express distress over ongoing illegal construction posing risks to neighbors, children, and local resources.

Despite Nairobi County’s closure of plot number 209/7549 City Park Drive on 17/2/24, halting development, construction persists unabated as of Sunday, 14th April.

They have called on President William Ruto’s administration to help curb the illegality the county government has failed to stop.

Concerns mount as safety measures remain absent, endangering children playing nearby and neighboring vehicles and properties.

Despite county officials’ aware of the violations, no action has been taken to address the situation, leaving residents frustrated and worried.
