In 2016, as the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) under Nick Mwendwa’s leadership took charge, Jackline Juma was nearing the conclusion of her esteemed playing career with the Harambee Starlets.

Shortly thereafter, she opted to retire from playing and embark on a fresh journey in football coaching, facilitated by FKF’s implementation of coaching courses tailored for former players.

Determined to advance her coaching career, Jackline diligently completed a series of FKF and CAF coaching courses, progressing from CAF D to CAF A level over eight transformative years.

This transition has seen her evolve from a renowned national team player to a respected figure in coaching.
