Wanjigi Urges Government to End Abductions of Innocent Kenyans

Prominent Kenyan politician Jimmy Wanjigi has called on the government to immediately halt the ongoing wave of abductions targeting innocent citizens.
Wanjigi expressed deep concern over the disappearance of three Kenyans, including Bob Njagi, who went missing after visiting him at the Kamukunji Police Station.
“It’s not only painful for me, but also for their parents, who haven’t slept since their sons were abducted by state security forces. The government must disclose the whereabouts of these missing men who visited me at Kamukunji police post three weeks ago,” he said.
Wanjigi criticized President William Ruto, accusing him of failing to value the lives of suffering Kenyans and disregarding the constitution.
“President Ruto must remember that he took an oath to protect and uphold the Kenyan constitution on behalf of 54 million citizens,” he added.
He further accused Ruto of violating his oath of office, holding him responsible for the recent abductions and murders of young Kenyans.
“We are in a sad state,” Wanjigi lamented.
Flanked by several activists, including Julius Kimani, who has been repeatedly arrested outside Parliament, and Joshua Okayo, Wanjigi urged Kenyans to stand up and assert their rights without fear.

During a packed press conference at a Nairobi hotel, the wealthy politician likened President Ruto to notorious historical figures such as Adolf Hitler, Uganda’s Idi Amin, and Sudan’s Omar Bashir, known for their brutal regimes.
