Kitui Floors Siaya during KYISA Games Opening Matches

Kitui County Basketball team dominated the court on Tuesday after thrashing Siaya County team 62-42 during the opening matches of the annual Kenya Youth Inter-County Sports Association (KYISA) games, being held in Kilifi County.

The electrifying showdown unfolded at Barani High School grounds in Malindi, captivating spectators with its intensity and skillful plays.

Under the expert guidance of Head Coach Nicholas Kyalo and Captain Cyrus Kilonzi, the Kitui basketball squad showcased exceptional teamwork and determination, leaving their opponents trailing behind.

The team has been accompanied by Kitui County’s Principal Sports Officer, Pascal Mwanzia, alongside other officers from the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Youth, ICT, Sports, and Social Services, underscoring the County Government’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting sports excellence.
