KPA Partners with Kilifi County Government to Offer Free Medical Camp to Residents

The free medical camp organized by the Kenya Ports Authority in partnership with the Kilifi County Government at Madzimbani Secondary School in Mariakani has attracted a large number of beneficiaries.
The medical camp, the first of its kind in the area since the advent of devolution, drew over 1000 residents from more than 54 villages in Mariakani ward.
The residents received diagnosis and treatment services including eye checkups, family planning, nutritional counseling, antenatal services, HIV services, diabetic and hypertension screening among others.

Additionally, the team distributed sanitary towels to school-going girls to support their academic performance.
Kilifi Department of Health Chief Executive Committee Member (CECM) Peter Mwarogo and local leadership led by area MCA Martha Koki Musyoki commended the Authority’s partnership.
The Authority reiterated its dedication to supporting local communities that do not have access to quality healthcare through Corporate Social Investment initiatives.
