Arsenal has been pitted against Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Gunners, who secured their spot by overcoming Porto in a tense penalty shootout, will face the German side at Emirates Stadium in the first leg.
This matchup marks the third consecutive season where Manchester City, last year’s titleholders, will encounter Real Madrid in the knockout stages.
Should Arsenal and City emerge victorious from their ties, they would potentially clash in the semi-finals.
In other quarterfinal matchups, five-time champions Barcelona will square off against French titleholders Paris St-Germain, while Atletico Madrid will host Borussia Dortmund.
The semi-final matches are scheduled for April 30 and May 1, with the second legs set for May 7-8.
