Clenc Investments, a media and general supplies firm, has been recognized as one of the most innovative companies dedicated to community development and social programs.
The Nairobi-based company has gained attention for its significant contributions to education and initiatives aimed at supporting underprivileged families and students.
A recent survey by Miradi Mtaani, a community-based private organization, highlighted Clenc Investments as one of the fastest-growing companies in Nairobi, due to its focus on community-driven projects.
In May, Clenc Investments reached out to over 25,000 people, providing food donations to vulnerable families living in informal settlements such as Kibra, Mathare, Huruma, and Dandora.
Johnston Oduk, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, explained that the food distribution initiative was aimed at assisting families affected by house demolitions in the city.
Additionally, the company helped 25 youths from these areas clear their rent arrears.
Clenc Investments is also collaborating with environmental organizations to promote climate change initiatives in Nairobi.
As the company eyes top awards later in the year, it plans to introduce more robust community initiatives.
This expansion will involve partnerships with key industry players to extend their reach across Kenya and the wider East Africa region.
