The donations made to Good Hope Markazil Banatil Islamia Centre, – a children’s home in Kariobangi which hosts and supports 110 orphans, the Villa Teag Homes in Dandora, the WAKF Commission of Kenya in Mombasa and Kwale county Muslim Charity Organization (KIMCO) will see over 160 families and the children in the children’s homes benefit.
“As a bank, we are guided by our new core values which we announced last year. These core values guide us in our everyday business, and also direct us to be responsible and to care for those around us. It is on the premise of the core values that we make these donations. Over the years, we have been donating to the vulnerable, and this year is not any different. We will continue to support those in need, to ensure that we give back to the society,” said DIB Bank Kenya CEO/Managing Director, Mr. Peter Makau.
The bank, which celebrated its four years anniversary last year, has been donating to the vulnerable since launching operations in Kenya, with the target of these donations being the vulnerable. Last year, over 80 families benefited from the donations done in Nairobi and Mombasa.
