The Gen-Zs revolution in the country is now targeting senior officers in President William Ruto’s government whom they deem incompetent and not helpful.
Women involved in the ongoing Gen-Zs inspired protests are now calling for resignation of cabinet advisor on Women Rights Agencies Harriet Chigai.
This is part of their conditions to the President before any discussions with the state.
They claim that Chiggai has failed to advise the President appropriately on matters affecting young women.Some of the issues include access to government opportunities,access to sanitary pads by young gilrs in rural areas, discrimination in job opportunities.
She has also been accused of working more with ellite and working class women and discriminating against the rural folk,young graduates.
“She is one of the failed advisors and must go before any negotiations,” a Gen Z Tick Tocker reccomded.
Another one posted: ” When you are talking about incompetent advisors here is one and her name is Chiggai,”
Chiggai who is a lawyer by profession, was a lead councel for the ANC party. She is a nephew to former Minister and Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo.
Other Government officers the Gen-Zs want fired are Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi and his education counterpart Ezekiel Machogu.
