Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives, Dr. Oparanya, Principal Secretary for MSMEs, Hon. Susan Mangen, Seme Constituency MP Hon. James Nyikal, and MSEA CEO Mr. H. Rithaa, have officially presented essential equipment to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in Seme Constituency.
The event, held on September 6, 2024, was aimed at bolstering the capabilities of local artisans and transport operators.
The ceremony saw the issuance of a state-of-the-art lathe machine to the Seme Artisans Association and a carwash machine, along with related accessories, to the Central Seme Bodaboda Association.
Over 300 MSEs from the constituency benefitted from the generous donation.
Support for Artisans and Transport Operators
The lathe machine, provided to the Seme Artisans Association, is expected to enhance the productivity and precision of local craftsmen.
The machine will allow artisans to undertake more complex and diverse projects, potentially increasing their business opportunities and income.
Meanwhile, the Central Seme Bodaboda Association received a carwash machine and accessories, which are anticipated to improve the efficiency and service quality of local boda boda operators.
