Mbagathi County Hospital is setting new standards in healthcare, thanks to recent upgrades and technological advancements implemented by the Nairobi City County government under Governor Sakaja’s administration.
These enhancements include the installation of the hospital’s first CT-Scan, a fully-equipped oxygen piping system, a platelets agitator, and a biochemical analyzer.
The introduction of oxygen piping has significantly improved the hospital’s capacity to treat patients with respiratory issues, while the platelets agitator has been vital for those with bleeding disorders, ensuring safer blood transfusions.

Additionally, the biochemical analyzer allows for quicker, more accurate diagnostic tests, enabling timely and effective treatments for various medical conditions.
