Police in Webuye East have launched investigations into an incident where a self-proclaimed preacher was on Monday, July 8 found in possession of human body parts in his vehicle.

The officers said the human body parts were found stashed in a carton inside the vehicle by attendants of a car wash at Amazing Petrol Station within Masikhu market.

The suspect has since been identified as Levis Simiyu, a pastor at a local church in Ndivisi Ward.

He had taken his Toyota Premio for body wash at the said spot before the shocking discovery was made.

“It was when the service guy was making the final touches at the boot that he noticed a protruding human leg, partly burnt and resting atop other such parts,” police say.

“The young man abandoned his duty ready to retire early, until the petrol station manager took a gaze at the creepy box.”

The manager of the facility informed the police at Webuye station, who arrived in time before the car owner could drive off.
