The Coca-Cola KachingChing na Coke promotion has concluded, with over 2 million winners sharing a prize pool of Sh163 million.
The Nairobi metropolitan area, which includes Nairobi City, Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado Counties, received the largest share of the prize money.
Kajiado County stood out as a top producer of new millionaires, with James Seka, a property caretaker in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, being the 13th and final recipient of the weekly Sh1 million grand prize.
Customers from Nairobi and its surrounding areas collectively won over Sh40 million while residents of the Coastal region secured over Sh23 million, with the rest of the country sharing Sh100 million in prizes.
Kajiado County produced three new millionaires: James Seka, Joram Ochienku and Phoebe Nafula.
Mombasa County followed with two new millionaires.
Other weekly Sh1 million grand prize winners are Aron Kipkirui (Kericho), George Odhiambo (Homa Bay), Samuel Arithi and Lennox Gatimu from Mombasa, Willy Mumach (Kisumu), Susan Wambura (Kirinyaga), Pamela Kageni (Nairobi), Justus Don Okello (Kakamega), Brenda Chepkemoi (Nandi) and Esther Wairimu Wambugu from Nyeri.
“These new millionaires will undergo training on personal financial management to ensure their winnings serve as a foundation for financial stability and wealth creation,” said Paul Oloo, Senior Communications Manager, Coca-Cola Kenya. “Given that the majority of Kenyans tend to seek financial advice from informal sources like friends or family, we have engaged financial experts to provide guidance so that their newfound wealth can have a lasting impact.”
In addition to the grand prize winners, over 2 million Kenyans nationwide won daily prizes ranging from Sh50 to Sh10,000.
Residents of Nairobi and the Mt. Kenya region received the majority of the Sh25 million allocated for daily Sh10,000 winners.

Unlike previous promotions where winners received trips and shopping vouchers, Coca-Cola tripled the prize money this year and awarded cash directly to winners.
This initiative aims to help consumers of Coca-Cola products, including various Fanta brands, Sprite, Krest, Stoney, and Schweppes, navigate the challenging economic environment.
To participate in the promotion, consumers purchased Coca-Cola beverages in 200ml, 300ml, and 500ml returnable glass bottles, checked under the metal crown for a unique code, and sent it to 40111 for a chance to win.
KachingChing na Coke Promotion was also designed to empower businesses that sell Coca-Cola beverages across the country by boosting sales and enhancing customer engagement.
