Police in Singor, Nandi County have launched investigations into the murder of a 59-year-old man after a domestic fight with his relative.
William Kimalyo Mosop, a resident of Chosereb village is reported to have been murdered by one of his relatives after an argument.
According to the Police, an argument ensued between the suspect and the deceased where the suspect picked up a panga and hacked the man on his head and right hand.
He died on the spot after bleeding heavily.
The suspect further attacked the deceased man’s wife and cut her on the left hand and leg.
She was rushed to Nandi Hills Sub County Hospital for medical attention while the body of the deceased was removed to the same facility mortuary awaiting an autopsy.
Efforts by the police are on to trace and apprehend the suspect as they are yet to establish the motive of the attack.
